Arbor Atlas
An iOS app that makes travel spending predictable — rethinking what budgeting for a trip can look like before you ever leave.
Overview
Making the cost of a trip knowable before you go.
Arbor Atlas is an iOS app I'm currently designing and building. The premise: most trip budgeting is guesswork until the money's already spent. Atlas aims to make the full cost of a trip predictable up front — so the plan and the spend line up.
This case study is in progress — a full write-up is coming as the product takes shape. [Replace with the real story once there's more to show.]
The Problem
Trip budgeting is guesswork.
[Describe the real gap: how people currently plan trip spending, where it breaks down, and the moment that made you want to build this.]
Approach
Shaping it, in the open.
[As the work develops: the core concept, the interaction you're designing around, and how you're pressure-testing it.]
What's next
Where Atlas is headed.
[The near-term plan and what you're hoping to prove.]
